Our Story

The Kapiti Community Foodbank was established in 1999 to provide free emergency food parcels to people in our community.

Today, we continue that work thanks to a combination of volunteers, staff, members and the generosity of the Kapiti community.

We are a registered charity and a community-owned organisation.

Our Community

We support people across the Kapiti Coast, from Peka Peka to Paekākāriki.

Our People

The Foodbank is overseen by a volunteer Board, with day-to-day operations managed by our Operations Manager and team.

And behind them is a dedicated group of volunteers who make the service possible every day.

Founded in 2021 by James White, Earthly Elegance began as a small family business with a vision to bring high-quality landscaping to the community. Over the years, we’ve grown into a team of dedicated professionals who share a common goal: to provide exceptional service and innovative design solutions.
